GENERAL INFORMATION

Emailed Artwork

• All email artwork should be clean and clear black and white vector art with all text converted to curves or outlines and filled solid without any halftones.
• Each piece of of artwork should have a hard copy faxed and reference a purchase order number on both the email and the faxed copy.
• Hub Pen is PC based using the latest version of Corel Draw.  Although our first preference is a Corel file, we can easily accommodate a wide variety of formats for both Mac and PC.

24 Hour Service

• Orders must be received by 12:00 P.M. EST
• 24 Hour Service icon in catalog indicates items available for no charge rush service.
• Orders must be specified 24 Hour Service.
• Please call for approval on quantities over 1000.
• 24 Hour Service not guaranteed on orders requiring a paper proof.
• Art touch-up not available on 24 Hour Service.

Ordering

• All orders should be faxed, emailed or mailed.
• Less than minimum orders are available for a charge of $50.00(a), please call to verify product.
• If quantity desired is more than what is listed, please call for a price.
• Normally exact quantities are shipped, we reserve the right to ship 5% over or under.
• We are not responsible for duplications on confirmation orders unless clearly marked.
• Paper proofs: first proof is free, additional revisions are $15.00(a) per proof.  All approvals and changes must be confirmed in writing
• On fax proofs, production begins upon approval.  Delays in responses can affect ship date.

Shipping

• UPS Ground is standard.  Other shipping methods available upon request.  Drop shipments: first three are free, each additional are $7.00(a)

Laser Engraving

• One time programming charge for laser logos is $70.00(a).
• Personalization is an additional $0.60(a). All personalization must be supplied in an electronic file.
• Please specify cap or barrel imprint, if unspecified Hub Pen reserves the right to use its own discretion for placement.

• PMS colors will be matched as close as possible at no extra charge.
• Black & White artwork should be sharp & clear (Camera Ready).
• Any artwork that needs touch-up will be assessed a minimum $20.00 charge.
• Normal silkscreen copy limit: 4 lines with logo and 6 lines without.  Maximum 28 characters per line.

Sample Policy

• All Sample requests must be faxed, emailed or mailed.
• Free laser spec samples are limited to 3 per week per customer.
• Free laser spec samples are offered on all laser engraved product except for wooden items.
• Free laser spec samples are offered only in straight line text in any of the laser fonts shown.
• All samples are shipped via UPS Ground unless more expedited methods requested.
• Shipping charges apply to all sample orders.

Miscellaneous

• Cancellations and corrections: labor and material cost used to that point will be billed.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• Pre-Production Proofs $15.00, fee waived on orders over 1000 pieces.
• On fax proofs, production begins upon approval.  Delays in responses can affect ship date.
• Orders will ship 5 working days after proof has been approved.
• All pens are available with black ink cartridge only.
